Version:           1.4.9.1 (using KDE 3.5.9)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

How to reproduce
1. Click the Files tab (on the left edge of the application).
2. Click the yellow star to open a drop-down menu.
3. Click the Edit Bookmarks option.
4. Nothing happens.

Expected behaviour
1. Some window should open and allow to modify the bookmarks.

Sorry but we are fully focused on Amarok 2 now. We don't have the time to fix this in Amarok 1.
Amarok 2 is totally different and this doesn't apply to it.

You're wrong - Amarok 2 has the Edit Bookmarks feature just like Amarok 1 and it does NOT work on my machine, too.

Has this one been fixed?  I just tried opening the bookmark editor in r859531 and it seems to work appropriately.
