Description Raphael Kubo da Costa 2008-08-14 05:18:07 UTC
Version: svn r846712 (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

OS: Linux

If I have "Play random tracks" on and my playlist is long enough to have a scrollbar, the playlist does not seek to the song being currently played if it was not already viewable before. It's specially annoying when the playlist is huge, then current song is distant from the previous and I want to play a song near it.

There should be a button or option in the menu to go to the current track (or it should work by default).

We had a shortcut for this in 1.4.x. This should probably be brought back.

Automatically going to the current song is not a good idea as one might be doing stuff in another place of of the playlist on trackchange and probably does not want to go to the current song then.

I implemented this in r869449, but it's not yet enabled in the GUI because of string freeze.

r875653 enabled the "show active track" context menu entry in the playlist.
