Description Paul Kaplan 2008-08-11 03:42:53 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.0)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

Using minimal xorg.conf file with a 2304x1024 virtual screen made up of 1280x1024 external (left) and 1024x768 internal (right) LCD.

1280x1024 jpg file is placed in upper left corner of large LCD, but as a 1024x768 image. The remaining strips on the bottom and right sides of the screen do not seem to function as "desktop" in that right clicking doesn't work.

At the same time the default ubuntu background image is placed on the internal LCD, but isn't scaled properly.

Also, plasma panels placed on left side of external monitor consistently cause 4.1 (or X?) to crash.

There's a duplicate of this somewhere, can't find it though.
