Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented. Thank you for your understanding. Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2. I can confirm that I would still like this feature in Kmail2 and beyond. The behaviour of the status button in Akregator is better than in kmail. It doesn't forget the setting every time you change folders. The difference is though that the status in Akregator applies to ALL folders. The best solution is for the status to be per folder but fixed until explicity changed by the user clicking the status button. We can lock status. In 4.9 there a "lock button" for it. For me it's ok now |
