Description Karsten König 2008-08-08 11:11:11 UTC
Version: 0.7 (using KDE 4.1.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

This pdf gets not rendered completly, just some pictures and bulletin points but no text
The text "is" there, you can copy it into kate for example, it's just not visible

http://www.batbox.org/IsThataLampInYourPocket.pdf (pretty heavy, 10,5mb)
It's about the nslu2 with linux on it ;)

Using opensuse stable 4.1 repository. okular is version 0.7
Problem exists longer already, this is no regression as far as I can tell

Hello Karsten,

Okular does not do rendering on its own, but for PDFs it uses an external library called Poppler.
As the problem is located in that library, could you please report the problem to its bug tracking system? The address is https://bugs.freedesktop.org, "poppler" product.
(This bug is being close as INVALID just because we don't have a NOTKDE status, not because the problem is not recognzed.)

Thanks for understanding.
