Description Gustavo Narea 2008-08-01 13:38:46 UTC
Version: 4.1.00 (KDE 4.1.0) (using 4.1.00 (KDE 4.1.0), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-19-generic

I am able to import self-signed root certificates in the Konqueror of KDE3, but in KDE 4 I can't. I import it, KDE says it was successfully imported, but then the list of SSL Signers is empty.

You can try this cert, for example: http://certs.gnulinuxmatters.org/glm-ca_cert.crt

*Bump*. There's at least a workaround? A bunch of dirty commands that would solve this problem temporarily? Anything I can do to make this work again?
Comment 2 Christoph Tavan 2008-09-14 11:50:26 UTC
I cannot provide any workaround, I can just konfirm that this problem still exists in KDE 4.1.1 (ubuntu-packages) for me...

Confirmed for KDE 4.1.2, might be related to bug 162485
Comment 4 Malte S. Stretz 2008-11-07 18:55:32 UTC
This behaviour is already mentioned http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=162485#c18
