Description Olaf Schubert 2008-07-29 19:22:03 UTC
Version: 1.2.50 (using KDE 4.1.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

When clicking on "Date", "Author" or "Title", the sorting is not changed (i.e. I can only use the default sorting). This did work in Akregator 1.2.9. Bug 82022 is a similar bug (but for version 1.0 and was fixed).

I tried to delete the akregator preferences, but this didn't help. The Akregator/KDE3 is installed on the same system and works flawlessly.

Works as expected in the development version (and always did).

Will, did the Opensuse package receive any special patch ?
Comment 3 Will Stephenson 2008-07-30 10:22:59 UTC
Christophe: the only significant akregator patch is to change the default feed list - it can't affect this.

I looked some more into the problem: The reason for this behaviour seems to be, that I'm using a tablet and QApplication::startDragDistance() is too small: with a mouse the sorting works fine.
I looked through the Akregator code from SVN, and I think Akregator does not change this value. So it's probably a duplicate of Bug 155890 (according to the Qt documentation the default value is 4 pixels, which should be fine...). However I couldn't find out, yet, why the default value is changed...
