Version: (using KDE 4.1.0)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When I define a keyboard shortcut for an application using the menu editor, it doesn't work. I tried several ones (like Meta+Shift+A or Meta-Ctrl+S). KDE (the just released 4.1) behaves as if the shortcut was not defined, the currently active application gets the key presses. Why browsing through the configuration modules, I found my shortcuts listed in "input methods". However, even the other shortcuts mentioned there (the example one, i.e. Meta+E opening Konqeuer at http://www.kde.org) don't work.

Seems like a duplicate error, https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=160892
I think, this one could be closed.
