It could be useful to provide this Dolphin's preview especially if you wish to select from the set of camera's pictures. In this moment I can see preview only mouse pointed file.

Yes. I'll move KFilePreviewGenerator from Dolphin into kdelibs this Monday, so that it can be used in the file dialog. Rafael said he'd take care on integrating it into the file dialog :-)

This feature has been added on the new open/save file dialog :-)
