Description Mikko C. 2008-07-22 18:52:31 UTC
Version:           2.0-SVN (using 4.1.60 (KDE 4.1.60 (KDE 4.2 >= 20080709)), Gentoo)
Compiler:          x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.26

Albums with more than one disc are not handled properly when browsing the collection.
Tracks are ordered by number, regardless of the CD number.
It seems like the tag "Disc number" is completely ignored.
This worked in Amarok-1.4.

As I thought, the "Disc Number" tag doesn't seem to be read.
I guess this is a bug in the Collection scanner.

I'm having the same problem as well...

I get this, or a similar bug, Amarok reads the Disc Number tag, it shows up in the tag editor, but still orders the tracks in an unusual order in the collection view.

The playlist view is fine when i add that album. I'm attaching a screenshot showing both the collection view and playlist view on Amarok 1.90, built from source on Kubuntu 8.04.

Fixed in r858103.

You'll need to rescan your collection.
