Version: (using Devel)

crash recovery: notify user about crashed session

Steps:
run konq
crash it
run konq
restore? do not ask me again + do not restore
crash konq
run konq
--> there is no indication that there is session ready to (manual) restoration

It would be useful to show user this info (this should be configurable via notification system).

That's because there's actually no session ready for manual restoration: You selected not to restore ever crashed sessions, so sessions are being saved but when you start Konqueror after a crash it automatically delete them as if you had clicked in "Do not restore" in the dialog.

Eduardo, this is a _wish_ report, not a bug. I am fully aware what I did, and what Konqueror does. But the wish is about what _can_ be done.

Deletion of session can be postponed, and there could be notification. Please note, that notification is less distracting for user than showing the dialog which forces user to make the decision.

IOW: keeping history of crashes would be useful. Once you "use" crash recovery, the entry is removed. And this wish is about.

IOW2: "do not restore" should _not_ be synonymous to "delete the crash data" (and in any language it is not the same).

Reopening, because there is nothing invalid in such wish.
