Description Arnout Boelens 2008-07-01 17:16:00 UTC
Version:           4.1 beta2 (using 4.00.84 (KDE 4.0.84 (KDE 4.1 >= 20080625), Debian packages)
Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.25-2-686

When I move the "Views" toolbar its position is not stored when I exit the program. When starting the program again, the toolbar shows up at its old position.

SVN commit 827201 by winterz:

make sure changes to the .rc files are merged, which should fix
the bug "Position of the "Views" toolbar is not saved".

But it doesn't completely fix. for some reason, the calendar toolbar
is shifted to the right when in top position. But this happens in
konqueror too, so I think there must be another bug somewhere in kdelibs.

I think this is related to a lot of toolbar positioning bugs like:
bug 163772 , bug 164555 , bug 166202 , bug 167659 , bug 166984 , bug 164500

I can confirm this behaviour, but only in korganizer (within kontact). The "view" toolbar alsways places itself to right, so that it is not fully visible.

I can't reproduce this bug in KOrganizer/Kontact svn trunk r865619.
Comment 6 Allen Winter 2008-10-21 02:22:59 UTC
yes, this should be fixed now.
closing.
