It could be regression of Bug 127188? I am unable to duplicate this crash with the trunk version. Please provide more detailed steps you used to make the crash happen. I don't do something special. I run the Kontact then I open menu Edit | Find Messages and I change field bellow "Match al of the following" to "From". I fill string and click to Search button finally. You can see it at http://lnmylinux.blogspot.com/2008/07/kontact-search-crash.html Same backtrace as in bug 137571 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 137571 *** Ladislav, Since you are building this yourself, please check if you have a file called byteswap.h somewhere in your /usr/include. What O/S and processor is this? I'm using openSUSE BuildService (http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Factory:/Desktop/openSUSE_11.0/) My current environment is: Qt: 4.4.0 KDE: 4.00.85 (KDE 4.0.85 (KDE 4.1 >= 20080703) "release 1.1" Kontact: 1.3 openSUSE 11 64-bit more exactly KDE 4.0.85-1.1 file byteswap.h is present in /usr/include and today I'm able to search in my Kontact without any problem. |
