Updated URLs ------------ CSS2.1 Test Suite By Chapter (served with application/xhtml+xml content-type) http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/Test/CSS2.1/20100316/xhtml1/toc.xht CSS2.1 Test Suite By Chapter (served with text/xml content-type) http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/Test/CSS2.1/20100316/html4/toc.html CSS code (declarations, rules) is not applied consistently to testcases served with application/xhtml+xml content-type. Some exact same (identical) testcases are rendered differently 4 examples: http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/Test/CSS2.1/20100316/xhtml1/list-style-019.xht versus http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/Test/CSS2.1/20100316/html4/list-style-019.htm http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/Test/CSS2.1/20100316/xhtml1/c45-bg-canvas-000.xht versus http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/Test/CSS2.1/20100316/html4/c45-bg-canvas-000.htm http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/Test/CSS2.1/20100316/xhtml1/margin-collapse-clear-014.xht versus http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/Test/CSS2.1/20100316/html4/margin-collapse-clear-014.htm http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/Test/CSS2.1/20100316/xhtml1/margin-collapse-clear-015.xht versus http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/Test/CSS2.1/20100316/html4/margin-collapse-clear-015.htm Over here, I am using KDE 4.2, Qt 4.6.2, Linux 2.6.31-19-generic and I think this bug should be REOPENED, otherwise at least reinvestigated. regards, Gérard Sorry, I meant to say that I am using KDE 4.4.2 and not KDE 4.2. Gérard CSS code (declarations, rules) is not applied consistently to testcases served with application/xhtml+xml content-type. Some exact same (identical) testcases are rendered differently 4 examples: http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/latest/xhtml1/list-style-019.xht versus http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/latest/html4/list-style-019.htm http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/latest/xhtml1/c45-bg-canvas-000.xht versus http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/latest/html4/c45-bg-canvas-000.htm http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/latest/xhtml1/margin-collapse-clear-014.xht versus http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/latest/html4/margin-collapse-clear-014.htm http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/latest/xhtml1/margin-collapse-clear-015.xht versus http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/latest/html4/margin-collapse-clear-015.htm I am using KDE Platform Version: 4.8.4 Konqueror version: 4.8.4 (with KHTML rendering engine) Qt Version: 4.8.1 Operating System: Linux 3.2.0-25-generic-pae i686 (32bits) Distribution: Kubuntu 12.04 LTS here. REOPENING The rendering mode of testcases served with application/xhtml+xml content-type is "Almost standard" and not "Strict". Load any of the 4 examples with the .xht extension and then do: View/View Document Information Ctrl+I/ Rendering mode: Gérard Dear user, KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6. Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component. We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes. For security issues, please see: https://kde.org/info/security/ Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML. Greetings Christoph Cullmann |
