Description Kamil Dabrowski 2008-06-24 16:30:29 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

I've just downloaded wallpaper named "Morning Sun" after downloading "Morning ..". "Morning Sun" disappeared from list in System Center->Appearance & Motives->Wallpaper (or maybe Background, not sure is that named, cause i have polish version). But in the download manager of wallpapers it's in negative: "Morning Sun" is set as downloaded and "Morning .." isn't. Both files (wallpapers) exist.

EDIT:
I've noticed that "Morning Sun" exists in list (not in that download) but with name "Created with GIMP". The same with other new wallpaper - QuakeLinux. It's named like "File written by Adobe Photoshop\r\r 4.0".

I think the bug is - bad names.

This is related to the old khotnewstuff implementation (and wrong packaged wallpapers too).

The current situation should be better (on KDE 4).

I'm closing this because is related to an unmantained software version (old kdesktop/khotnewstuff).

Bug closed. Kdesktop is no more mantained.
