Version: 0.50.80 (kde 4.0.82) (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

I login in MSN with Kopete from KDE 4.0.82. I have a user which I deleted a long time ago, which is shown as "Not in contact list". I right click on the user, and choose Remove Contact. The contact disappears from my contact list, but a few seconds later, the group Not incontact list is recreated and the just removed user is added.

I tested this with kopete 0.50.1, and contacts are added to that group if the removed person opens a chat. Opening and typing some letters is enough, he does not have to say anything.

So probably the removed user was typing something, you removed him, he was still typing so he reappeared in your list, but then he decided not to say anything.

We've completely replaced the current MSN implementation with a new MSN
implementation. If you continue to experience this bug after testing the
new implementation (which can be gotten from our subversion repository or with
the KDE 4.2 Beta 1 release), PLEASE, open a new bug rather than reopening this
bug. Thank you for your time and efforting in helping us find and fix problems
in Kopete.
