Description Torquil Macdonald Sørensen 2008-06-14 10:38:22 UTC
Version: 3.5.9 (using 3.5.9, Debian Package 4:3.5.9.dfsg.1-4 (lenny/sid))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.25-2-686

I do not have the konqueror-nsplugins package installed. I use the konqueror-plugin-gnash package to get flash support. I did however use nsplugins and the Adobe flash plugin before, but now I have uninstalled konqueror-nsplugins.

But the Adobe flash player still shows up on the about:plugins page (in addition to the Gnash plugin), even though it is not accessible to konqueror since the konqueror-nsplugins package is not installed.

Best regards
Torquil Sørensen

Could you try to go to konqueror settings, on the plugin section, and click "search new plugins" button?

But I don't have any such Plugins section, because the konqueror-nsplugins package is not installed on my system.

Would that refresh the information? Did you try it?

Torquil: The plugins section in the SETTINGS DIALOG should always exist. If not, your distributor messed up your konqueror packages and you should file a bug against that.

The konqueror-nsplugins package in Debian contains the nspluginviewer binary. Without this binary, there's no use in showing the plugin configuration, therefore the corresponding desktop file is in the konqueror-nsplugins package as well.
