Version: 1.9.51 (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux

Select any mail letter, then click "Create To-do" button on panel or "Create To-do/Reminder" in context menu and only KOrgonizer being opened and never todo created not anything else happen.
Comment 1 FiNeX 2008-06-07 10:23:55 UTC
To me it opens the "create todo" dialog, I can save it, but after saving korganizer show only the calendar view, toolbars are empty and I cannot switch to the "todo" list. The small todolist on the left is empty too.

Maybe this is more a korganizer problem, not a kmail one.

I've forgot to say that I'm using revision 816682 from trunk.
Comment 3 Allen Winter 2008-06-07 18:09:12 UTC
Works perfectly for me with today's trunk.
But I'm testing only with Kontact.

I didn't test yet if KMail and KOrganizer are running stand-alone
Comment 4 FiNeX 2008-06-07 18:48:30 UTC
Yes, with kontact it is ok, it seems that korganizer standalone is a bit broken today...
Comment 5 Thomas McGuire 2008-06-07 18:54:14 UTC
Confirmed, doesn't work when running KMail standalone. When KOrganizer is not running, KOrganizer is started, but no dialog is shown. When KOrganizer is running already, it works.

'/korganizer_PimApplication' (signature '')"
Comment 8 Nicolas L. 2010-04-28 12:09:11 UTC

Comment 9 Nicolas L. 2010-04-28 12:10:15 UTC
i try to figure out the issue now
Comment 10 Nicolas L. 2010-04-28 12:39:31 UTC
i don't know how to do but i think KMail::KorgHelper::ensureRunning should end only when korganizer is completly loaded.
Comment 11 Christophe Marin 2011-05-02 14:48:51 UTC
Fixed with kdepim 4.6, RMB/Create to-do opens the korg dialog and the new todo appears in the todo list.
