Description Soroush 2008-06-05 16:54:44 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages
OS: Linux

I use kate as a general text editor for different texts and programming languages and i see kate doesn't support indension by default and i should go to configuration to change and set the indention mode.

it is a stupid to go to configuration and change indention type when having different files open and it is very usual for me to have many files(html, css,c++,bash script, python, ...) open in different languages in different kde invironments including kate and quanta.

moreover i hope kate to support indention for more programming languages including "bash".

Even for simple text it is expected to see the cursor in the level the last line was beggining there when we press enter so i hope it'll default indention for unknown filetypes to be like this.
