Description disclosed 2008-05-25 11:09:29 UTC
Version: kde 4.0.4 (using KDE 4.0.4)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

in kicker (or whatever equivalent in kde 4.0.4, perhaps klauncher) it is not possible to add quicks start buttons.

the only way to start new applications is through the menu.

in kde3 it was possible to add quick start buttons.
too bad it is not in possible in kde4

My memory is hazy... quick start buttons gave you submenus, right? So you could have one for "Internet" or for "System Settings"/"Control Centre".

Anyway, this is a wish item. It's simply a case of someone making the relevant plasmoid.

A quicklaunch applet is in kdebase in trunk. (Will be part of KDE 4.2.)
