In KDE3 it used to be possible to configure an alternate (i.e. additional) shortcut for any action. This worked in the control centre module or any application's shortcut configuration.

In KDE4 it seems to be no longer possible to configure an alternate for a global shortcut (using System Settings - Keyboard & Mouse - Keyboard Shortcuts). There is only a "Global" column, and this only offers the option to configure one key.

If this is really the case - only one shortcut setting per global action is allowed - then this is a major regression from KDE3. It will certainly be missed by people with keyboards having extra keys for window operations or for cut/copy/paste (the latter operations can't be redefined anyway, see bug 161010).

Didn't spot the earlier bug.
