Description Diederik van der Boor 2008-05-06 11:34:59 UTC
Version: onbekend (using 3.5.9 "release 53.4" , openSUSE )
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22.17-0.1-default

When adding an identity, and adding an IMAP account afterwards the identity can't be selected. Only when apply is pressed, the identity is available.

Likewise, when deleting an identity it can still be selected in the IMAP settings. Only after pressing apply the list is up to date.

Confirmed on trunk r948809. Maybe the right way to fix this would be to disallow changing the from identities to accounts without either discarding or applying the changes? That would conform to eg. how the systemsettings appearance kcm works.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
