Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package

i'll try by example: open a maximized firefox window and the contact list of your favorite instant manager at a "docked state" touching the edge of the screen on the top and the right side. not a very unlikely setup. if i quickly want to close my contact list, by moving my mouse cursor to the top right corner of the screen and press the left mouse button, it will close the firefox window underneath the im's contact list and leave the contact list open.

it really doesn't make much sense differentiating between a maximized windows behavior on the edge of the screen and the same for a non-maximized window. they should always be treated equally, meaning, the im's contact list close button should extend into infinity on the top right corner as soon as it touches that corner. just give me a meaningful example why it should not be that way.

I think you can configure this (configuration of window behaviour - something like "allow redimensioning maximized windows"). I agree it should be the default if it isn't.
