Description Otto A. Schell 2008-04-24 06:00:26 UTC
Version: 1.6.3 (using 3.5.9 "release 51.2" , openSUSE )
Compiler: Target: x86_64-suse-linux
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.23.17-ccj64-regular

If I try to load a raw image (extension .orf, Olympus flavour of raw images) I got this picture in a pre-loading screen and if I press <ok> button the following message appears (in German language):

Fehler: Dcraw kann dieses Bild nicht laden. Meldung: Nicht numerisches Argument für "-m"

Ok, that "für" means "für", seldom program(mer)s recognize de_AT as German language...

That German message means
Error: Dcraw cannot load this picture. Message: Not (a) numerical argument for "-m"

I wouldn't bother You, if I could find out this script, witch sorted out arguments and switches for dcraw... The only I found out, dcraw and its gallery of switches inside some libraries.

dcraw sucks a bit... David Coffin not only adds options, but removes them as well, so you are probably using a version of dcraw that's different from the one I wrote the plugin for. For Krita 2.0 we will use either libkdcraw or openraw and that will make the problem go away. I'm afraid no new releases of the 1.x code are planned -- you could try converting your raw pictures to 16 bit tiff with ufraw, digikam or rawstudio (all free software).
