Description Maciej Pilichowski 2008-04-10 19:53:43 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

It is just an example.

Run ktorrent, close the window, double RMB on ktorrent systray icon. ktorrent will quit.

Why? First RMB was interpreted as "open the menu", second was interpreted as "quit ktorrent" (last entry in the popup menu).

Double RMB should be handled exactly like double LMB.

Assign it as a duplicate because even when this reported suggested that double RMB click become a double LMB click, the main issue "double RMB not being distintive from 2 sinble RMB clicks" is the same.

Comment 2 Maciej Pilichowski 2008-04-21 14:05:49 UTC
It is not a duplicate -- this one is about making distinction, the other one is one step further "we have a distinct (*) double RMB, now, what we can do with it, oh, we may assign an action to it".

This problem described here is a bug, issue mentioned in the other report is an enhancement.

(*) figure speech, we don't

The clicks now happen in two different applications. The first click is on the system tray, the second is on the menu. So if the bug still appears, it cannot be fixed.
