Description dmoyne 2008-03-30 12:42:54 UTC
Version: 2.alpha.6 (using KDE 4.0.2)
Installed from: Unspecified Linux
Compiler: Target: x86_64-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.22-14-generic

I wanted to add a printer icon in the top toolbar ; I used the feature "Settings -> Configure toolbars" ; when I added the printer (drag & drop from left section to right section of window) Kword crashed.
Regards.

I can't reproduce this specific issue, but I can confirm that kword has *huge* trouble with toolbars in beta2 (svn r875984).
Things I observed:
1) Trying to add any icon in the "file" toolbar, it doesn't get added.
2) Playing a bit with adding/removing items from other toolbars causes crashes. To reproduce, just "play" with a toolbar a little (add a few buttons, apply changes, remove them, crash!).

These are two different backtraces that I got while "playing" with the toolbars. I am not pasting this, since it is ~600 lines. They both seem to be crashes in Qt, but who knows what caused them.... They could well be KXmlGui bugs.

I played around quite a bit and no crashes.
I fear any toolbar configuration issues are most likely kdelibs bugs anyway, so if you still have some please re-report to kdeui
