If you have a web server with a iso-8859-1 charset on url's, konqueror will
list them correctly (showing accents), but if you try to copy those files, it
will try to grab files from server using utf8 enconding, which is wrong.
In my case, I was using webdav:// protocol, so I don't know if this also
affects others.

KDE 3 is no longer maintained. If this is still an issue in the latest version of KDE (v4.8 or higher), feel free to reopen this ticket.
