The plain-text multiline signatures, inserted from file (having them from KDE 3.x), are inserted as a one-line, with line-breaks and tabs totally lost, like this:

while KMail from KDE 3.x (and other agents) inserts the same file this way:

I can not reproduce this, works fine for me in plain text mode and in HTML mode. The tabs show up as tabs, and newlines are inserted properly.
Have you got the most recent version?

Cannot reproduce on 4.2.2 (Kubuntu) using external file or pasting the text directly into the signature box.

Sergei can you still reproduce the problem on the latest builds? Thanks.
