Description Johannes Wienke 2008-03-21 20:14:08 UTC
Version: 0.9.3 (using KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

The background color of the quick filter indicates with red and green whether something corresponding to the search string was found in the current album / date. The search will still be performed if you change the album or date in the timeline view, which is absolutely correct, but the background color doesn't get updated correctly.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Step into an album containing images tagged with "flower"
2. Quick filter for "flower". You will get results and a green background for the quick search bar
3. Step into an album containing no images tagged with "flower". Background color is still green. It should be red.

ohannes

This is not reproductible with current implementation from svn (next 0.9.4-beta2)

Unforget than quick filter for icon view (located on status bar) filter items to search strings into Comments, filename, tags text fields. When you change album, your filter still active an can query items again.

Well, if I understand correctly, that exactly the behavior that I described above. The filter is still active, but the background color doesn't reflect the results in the current album.

This is not reproducible here. The text filter background color change when you change album and when filtering is failed or not...

Then it seems to be fixed in the trunk.
Comment 5 caulier.gilles 2008-03-22 14:11:53 UTC
If you want to test, try 0.9.4-beta1...

Doesn't matter that much for such a minor bug.
