Description Nico Schlömer 2008-03-04 00:49:14 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

well, i'm not even sure if this is a kde bug, but might very well be.

i'm running on an external monitor here with a 1440x900 resolution while my notebooks standard resolution is 1280x800. got an intel gmax3100 and i do run the latest drivers (2.2.1). still, i see artifacts when logging out.

steps to reproduce:

1.) start kde, plugin external monitor, adjust resultions.
2.) get to logout screen

... watch how 75 percent of the screen go bw, see the other quarter shine in full color. screenshot enclosed.

Should this be a problem of plasma?

This is Intel graphics, right? Ask your packager to include qt-copy patch #0172.
