Description eddie 2008-02-26 10:50:18 UTC
Version: 1.9.6 (enterprise 20070904.708012) (using 3.5.8 "release 31.1" , openSUSE )
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22.17-0.1-default

Occasionally, I get a message that when I highlight it I cannot read it and it remains marked as new. Trying to change its designation by marking it as old or read is unsuccessful. Attempts to delete it also do not work.

Today, I succeeded by
1) closing kmail
2) locating and deleting the index file for the folder containing the message
3) starting kmail

Wishlist. Can a button or option be inserted somewhere in the menu list that can do this function (deleting a corrupt index file)? If I recall correctly there used to be something like that in earlier versions of kmail.
