When adding a new event, the Title and Place fields would have drop-down box of recent or common entries. Similar to the addressbar in Konqueror.

I should add that this feature would help when filing new appointments that are similar to older appointments. Using templates for this is not practical because one does not know ahead of time if a given Title or Location will be used again.
