Description Mike Anderton 2008-02-21 01:05:51 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

Using Konqueror, if i go to View -> Most often viewed, i see a menu pop up that is blank, takes up the entire width of the screen. The computer freezes then everything but the desktop background image is visible. I end up back at the login manager. I reproduce this all I want so if there are anymore questions, shoot!

running ubuntu 7.10. installed kubuntu-desktop a couple days ago. installed compiz, updated to 3.5.9 today, just noticed the error now.

Can you reproduce the bug even with a "clean" user account ?
Comment 3 Mike Anderton 2008-02-22 16:30:33 UTC
With a new user account, the visited sites are listed and konqueror does not crash. A correction to above, the computer does not "freeze" the mouse cursor still moves around but as stated above, everything disappears leaving the desktop background (and mouse cursor) visible for about 10-12 seconds until i'm kicked out to the login manager.

Can you please tell us if it happens in KDE 4?

Sounds like a corruption of your user settings.
