Description skierpage 2008-02-19 12:01:25 UTC
Version: 4.00.80 (using KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from: MS Windows Binaries
Compiler: MSVC
OS: MS Windows

In any File Open dialog and in Dolphin, paths such as C:\KDE4\share\sounds appear in the path bar as "Custom Path" > KDE4 > share > sounds.
Clicking Root takes you to "Custom Path". I never see the Windows drive letter. I don't see other drive letters like E: (my CD-ROM).

Bug 156159 reports similar problem entering drive letters, but doesn't mention this "Custom Path".

Maybe this is due to lack of Solid on MS-Windows.

Drive letters no longer show up as "Custom Path" in Dolphin 1.0.99 on 4.0.61. This still happens in file dialogs.

This bug no longer exists in 4.0.73. File dialogs as well as URL bar show the directory.

Duplicate didn't work, already marked as fixed.
