KDE Help Center shows up in recent MS-Windows builds (yay!)

But several of the top-level sections, like "Welcome to KDE", do nothing. You click on them, the status line briefly flashes "Preparing Document", but the main window contents don't change.

It seems Welcome to KDE, KDE Users' Manual, The KDE FAQ, Contact Information, KDE on the Web, and Supporting KDE have this problem.

I have C:\KDE4\share\doc\HTML\en\khelpcenter containing contact.docbook, help.docbook, support.docbook, etc. so I'm not sure what the problem is.

ok, when starting the KDE Users' Manual for the first time, it needs extremely long until the page changes.
When you restart later, the time is in a normal range.
My guess is that some kind of indexing takes place which doesn't give any feedback.
As this thing is rather annoying for new users, I'll leave this bug open.

At least in binary release 4.1.0 this problem seems to be fixed
