Description Wonko 2008-02-15 14:10:07 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.4.6 Gentoo Hardened 3.4.6-r2 p1.5, ssp-3.4.6-1.0, pie-8.7.10
OS: Linux

- Open root directory in konqueror.
- Create a shortcut by dragging the folder icon from title bar into a folder, or onto the desktop.
- Instead of creating a shortcut named '/' in the folder, it wants to give it the name of the folder itself.

Renaming the shortcut to '/' (that is, %2f) is not a problem.

Yes, this is a very minor bug, but I thought I'd report anyway. Happy fixing!

A similar issue exist on KDE 4 too: bug #177382.

Kdesktop is no more mantained. Fortunatly this bug seems not to be valid for
KDE 4. Please reopen if this bug is not a kdesktop one (and it is not solved)
or it can be reproduced on KDE 4.

Thanks.
