Ill-rendered thumbnail for parley displaying last application (konqueror) [bug #157821]

Description Oliver Putz 2008-02-14 16:02:31 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 4.1.2 20070214
OS: Linux

When I use compositing features and the "Taskbar Thumbnails" effect, the thumbnails are shown incorrectly. I encountered two problems:
First of all, the thumbnails are rendered at the wrong position (see any screenshot)
Sencondly, the application displayed in the preview thumbnail does not change when hovering from application A directly and fast to application B. It seems to only change when the mouse cursor is at least some milliseconds off one of the application symbols in the task manager. (Screenshot 2)
However, even though the picture does not change, the thumbnail *does* get updated. (e.g.: A thumbnail of some application A that displays a progress bar will show an the updated progress bar of application A when hovering over application B.)
Regrettably qt-recordmydesktop seems not to be able to capture the displayed thumbnails correctly, so I can only attach screenshots in order to show the problem.

Remark: My second problems could perhaps be related to bug #157816. The only difference seems to be that bug #157816 seems to talk about the interaction of Taskbar applications and System Tray applications (which works fine for me)
