ktorrents console output:
undefined symbol: lstat64

k3b's console output:
QGDict::hashKeyString: Invalid null key
QGDict::hashKeyString: Invalid null key
k3b: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libk3b.so.3: undefined symbol: stat64

To add, in order to reproduce k3b's crash, try to burn a DVD .iso

Looks like a distribution specific bug...

confirmed, it's a distribution specific bug.
