Version:           0.50.0 (using 4.00.60 (KDE 4.0.60 >= 20080129), compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.24

Till Kopete used with KDE 3.5.8 I've always seen the avatar images of my MSN contact. With the Kopete version for KDE 4.0.x (banch 4.0) and KDE 4.1.x (trunk) the avatar are replaced by a white small box.

I can confirm this is still present in 0.50.1
in addition I'm not able to send my avatar image to my msn contacts
