Description Lloyd Osten 2008-02-03 15:36:33 UTC
Version: 1.9.7 (using KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux

Kmail 1.9.7 on KDE 3.5.7 (all 64 bit Mandriva 2008 RPMS)

Occasionally, I will get a message that can't be deleted.
Here's what happens....

1. Click on message in the message list
2. Click on the trashcan icon in the toolbar
3. A horizontal line is drawn through the message line in the message list. At this point, clicking on the trashcan icon does nothing, except reproduce the line. While actually READING the message, the "DELETE" key will remove the message, but not the line from the message list. Its behavior remains the same, as it won't go away.

Are those emails stored on an IMAP server?

I don't think they are. I set up the program for POP. Kmail never
misses messages (from the same server.)

I have this in v 1.10.0 (kde4.1) very often. Sometimes deleting doesn't work (like described above) and sometimes old already deleted messages come back after a restart and cannot be deleted.

I think this bug is gone with kde 4.1.1. Don't have it since I upgraded.

I'm not able to reproduce it too using current trunk.
