Usually, if you select a time range on the calendar view, when you type something a new event will popup with the text typed (in the title of the event).
Korganizer 3.5 do that, and, if I remember well, even Korganizer 4.0... since some days ago: in recent revisions, in fact, this doesn't happen  (tested even in 753453).

When korganizer is just started, typing text after selecting a time range opens the "new event" dialog without title. After the first time, typing text doesn't open not even the "new event" dialog.

The problem is still present

It has been fixed in trunk. Tested revision 816081.
