Description Ben Boeckel 2007-12-22 13:35:23 UTC
Version: 3.5.6 (enterprise 0.20071123.740460) (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

I would like to be able to be able to move an event from one calendar to another rather than having to recreate it and rebind it to the calendar. If it already does exist, it is not intuitive and I would suggest allowing drap and drop onto the calendar list to change (or at least copy, though a popup like Konqueror does with move/copy/cancel would be great).

Here's an alternative possible mechanism for moving events between calendars (the idea behind suggesting an alternative is not to claim it is better from the user's perspective but to let the potential implementor possibly select an easier way to implement the feature).

If one edits an existing event, then the calendar to which the event belongs is allready visible on the top left "Calendar: " field. Moving events between calendards could be "as easy" as making that field editable, just like the "Categories: " field is, and giving the user the choice to select from a drop-down list.
