(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konqueror
Version: v2.0pre (KDE 2.0)
Severity: grave
Installed from: MandrakeUpdate RPMS

After installing the MandrakeUpdate RPMs for KDE 2 the association between KMail and Konqueror seems broken. I can click on URLs but all I get is a Konqueror download status window and the URLs is never displayed. This occurs no matter what the extension is and the only way I can get it to work is via Klipper and even that is dicey as the highlighting feature in Konqueror seems to select more text than just the URL.

Hi

This must be a result of the HEAD request. David we seem to have this problem
when invoking things from other applications such as Minicli Kmail Klipper. The
easiest test is to attempt and access the SWAT tool

There are also a couple of bug reports. Is there any way to fix this problem like we did
before ? Actually did you already fix this ? If so what broke it. If you do not have time
give me a hint where I should look (too lazy to go hunting) and I will try to remdy this if
possible. Hmmm... my opinion of the guilty would be KRun and company...

Regards
Dawit A.
