Maybe it is related somehow to:

Create new account, set the password, do not store password, OK, get the mail -- it does not required password from me if this was get the mail from all accounts, but it did when I get the mail from new account (bug?).

Get back to settings, this time set to store the password, get mail from the new account and password dialog shows up again. 100% bug.

Can you check for this in KDE 4.3+?

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
