Description Andrea 2007-12-04 12:57:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.1.2 20060928 (prerelease) (Ubuntu 4.1.1-13ubuntu5)
OS: Linux

I've added an .ics local file to KOrganizer's calendars. When I reload the calendar, its entries are displayed twice in the month view. If I reload it again, its entries are displayed three times, and so on.

For the duplication to become apparent, you have to "refresh" the month view (ie. switch to another month and then back). This also happens in the week view, and both when KOrganizer is used standalone and as a Kontact plugin.

Quitting the application and restarting it gets rid of the duplicates (until the calendar is manually reloaded again).

This is almost certainly a duplicate of bug #99649. Please could the reporter check that your items are missing UID fields and close it if you agree it's a duplicate?

I confirmed that my .ics file is missing a UID field. This bug is probably a duplicate of #99649.
