Description Grósz Dániel 2007-12-02 14:41:53 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux

If I click on the Show Desktop plasmoid, it hides everything, including the panel. So if I had the plasmoid on the panel, I cannot return by clicking on it again.

yes, i'm still deciding whether panels should remain visible or not. "show desktop" is not quite the same with plasma as it does something ever so slightly different ...
Comment 2 Luis Augusto Fretes Cuevas 2007-12-03 21:09:55 UTC
I was going to sbumit a similar bug, but whit composite enabled, the plasmoid is visible, but non-clickeable, so I can't bring up my windows (well, I can, I have to add the show desktop to... ehm... the Desktop XD).

Would it be possible that this plasmoid could stay on top? Or, maybe set a key binding instead.

Thanks and advance Aaron, and keep the nice work ;P

Re-unconfirm (owner changing confirmed the bug).

you can toggle this "show desktop" (also known as "dashboard") with ctrl+f12. you don't actually need the 'show desktop' widget at all.

aaron: have you made a decision? :)

there is now a button in the toolbox to hide the dashboard. i'm going to keep the rest as is for now.

So, what about now?
I would also whish, that I could use the show dashboard button for showing and hiding the dashboard.
