Description Torsten Dörschel 2007-11-29 06:56:53 UTC
Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages
OS:                Linux

I have to read a HTTPS feed because my university switched from mailing list to RSS but wants to keep it closed.
Seems to be new that Akregator can at least open that feed, but it is really annoying that it requests my kwallet password everytime the feed updates.

Why doesn't it work like KMail: request kwallet once and than keep the feed password for this session?
Same problem with KNewsticker, do I have to post this to these guys seperatly?

Greetings,
Torsten

Upon password request for KWallet it says that password is being requested by "KDE Daemon", I tried adding this to ~/.kde/share/config/kwalletrc:
[Auto Allow]
kdewallet=kwalletmanager,akregator,KDE Daemon,Amarok
(restarted a number of times after that)
It still asks for password when fetching feeds...

(Fedora11, Fedora12/KDE4.2.x, KDE4.3.x)
