*** Bug 152648 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Likely induced by pulseaudio + alsa-plugins-pulseaudio, see also related downstream report: http://bugzilla.redhat.com/361891 fwiw, you can disable kde/pa integration on fedora8 by $ yum remove kde-settings-pulseaudio alsa-plugins-pulseaudio *** Bug 153680 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I had exactly this one (fc8, same backtrace), and solved it by setting the skip prevention slider to something lower than "as large as possible". This slider can be found in: control center -> sound & multimedia -> sound system, under "General" tab. Arts is no longer developed and has been unmaintained for quite some time - more than 2 years. With phonon as the replacement for arts in KDE4, we're closing out all the arts bugs in Bugzilla since there is no chance of them being fixed. Thanks |
