Description Espen 2007-11-14 14:41:26 UTC
Version: 1.2.7 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

I whish for a moving/turning status icon similar to the gear in Konqueror/the globe in Explorer/the blinking circles in Firefox/ the N in Netscape etc, when akregator downloads a web page.

I situations where akregator use long time to fetch a page, there are no clearly visible status icon that tell the user that the program is currently busy downloading a web page, other than the mouse pointer if akregator is the active program.

My akregator also has available space in the GUI top right corner GUI so this function would fill that space just perfect :-)

That's something I also like to see for downloading the feeds. Just greying out the icons is often not enough for me to see that there is something still downloading. The status bar text is removed once you select an item, and so you don't see when the feeds are still downloaded.
