Description Felix Berger 2007-10-23 15:40:20 UTC
Version: 1.9.6 (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu14.1)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22.5.d630

My .xsession-errors file contains the following after new mails come in:

crm: *UNTRAPPABLE ERROR*
 Couldn't open the file: mailreaver.crm
Sorry, but I can't recover from that.
This happened at line 0 of file mailreaver.crm
Sorry, couldn't chdir to /home/felix/.crm114

It looks like kmail didn't create the directory ~/.crm114 correctly for crm to work.

After creating that folder manually, the following errors are logged when applying the filters on new mails:

crm: *UNTRAPPABLE ERROR*
 Couldn't open the file: mailreaver.crm
Sorry, but I can't recover from that.
This happened at line 0 of file mailreaver.crm

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
